Paris Hilton breakup for publicity?

Does anyone else find it strange how Paris break up with Doug, the day after news breaks that Leonardo DiCaprio was breaking up with Bar or Barr whatever her name is. Does anyone else think she did it for the publicity? I mean, she is a socialite after all. It's a shame because Doug might have actually been falling for her, don't you think? And now everyone is blaming him, claiming he only wanted her for publicity. Why does the guy always get the bad end of the stick? But this guy must be really screwy if he thought that his relationship with Paris would last past a year.
