Is a ruptured ovarian cyst supposed to be followed by midcycle bleeding (4 days and counting)?

It could be a number of things, if she's on birth control, she could've skipped a pill or two. It's not uncommon to bleed in the middle of a pack sometimes. If she's not, it could just be stress. I don't think it's of any concern unless she is bleeding extremely heavy and having to change pads or super plus tampons every 1 - 2 hours. THATS cause for concern and you'd need to go to the ER right away...you can call your dr. office and leave a message for the nurse to be sure; but I think she's okay.
