Do you think the Tamils on the ship coming from Sri Lanka will get to stay in Canada?

They are coming illegally by ship. They were trying to get to Australia but got off course and are now coming to Canada near Vancouver. They have already set up a temporary hospital to help them, supposedly a lot of them are sick. BC is already setting up rooms and temporary healthcare for them, so I am guessing they get to stay?? Do you think it is fair that these illegal immigrants get to come into Canada and just stay?
