For couples married 10+ years?

What are your thoughts on vow renewal ceremonies? Personally, I think they're a bit cheesy and sometimes just another excuse to receive gifts (although I do acknowledge some couples ask specifically for no gifts). I figure if you shouldn't have to reinforce something already solid and if it isn't solid, no ceremony is going to make it so.
