2006 jeep liberty dash does not illuminate after installing a aftermarket cdplayer?

this was the bigest pain to install out of any vehicle ive ever installed a radio in and after blowing about 4 fuses finally got it wired right and at first the guages wernt working at all now they work fine the cdplayer works the only problem is the guage cluster doesnt illuminate, checked the fuses they re all fine anyone know what the problem is
