Can Australian PM Kevin Michael Rudd ban nukes?

i think if k-rudd is doing this then us as australians should stand up behind him and support him, hes doing a much better job than howard ever did plus - do we really want to follow in america's footsteps? honestly, majority of them cant even remember the date that 9/11 happened! september 11! darh!! i agree that we definately need a solution to the warming problem but nuclear energy is not the answer!
